Advice About Portraits
Catherine, most often known to her friends as "Cate", usually works in oil paints on canvas but also in graphite pencils and coloured pencils.
When good quality images are available or commissions are from outside Jersey, work can often be completed from clients' own photographs. These need to be clearly focused, true to colour and of sufficiently high resolution to be enlarged for reference. When work is commissioned in Jersey, Catherine is happy to take photographs for you if suitable ones are not available.
Collection of work is by appointment and delivery can be organised free of charge in Jersey. Outside the island, additional delivery costs will apply.
Should you wish to receive your painting framed, this can be arranged at additional cost. Off-island delivery and framing are not included in the offer.
